Bill is a co-founder of Pacific Western Residential (PWR) and will lead site evaluation/selection, development modeling, entitlement processing, debt/equity structuring, and asset compliance monitoring.

He has more than 30 years of commercial, residential and multi-family brokerage, lending and development experience, primarily in connection with affordable housing development projects located in California, Nevada, Arizona and Washington.

Over his career, Bill has worked for a series of top tier multi-family mortgage banks, including ARCS Commercial Mortgage, GMAC Commercial Holdings, and Citi Community Capital, originating and structuring more than $3.5 billion of loans supporting the construction and permanent financing of 25,000+ units of multifamily affordable housing.

Bill has worked effectively with multiple state bond and tax credit allocating agencies, including the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, the Nevada Housing Division, the Arizona Department of Housing, and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.

Bill is a Principal at PWR and President of Vale Capital, Inc., a real estate debt and equity investment company based in Menlo Park, CA. He received his AB degree from Stanford University and his MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
