RENO, NEVADA—Fresh off the completion of four projects featuring more than 900 multi-family units, Pacific West and Lewis Apartment Communities are teaming up on five new projects, one in Northern California and four in Northern Nevada.

The five new projects will bring more than 1,200 units to markets that are suffering from a shortage of apartments.

Pacific West is expected to break ground August 15 on Homecoming at Creekside, a 120-unit community in Natomas, California (just west of Sacramento).

Homecoming will feature a product collaboration between Pacific West and Lewis based on the FlexBuilding, an ultra-efficient design by Integrated Design-Build Solutions, a division of Pacific West.

The four Northern Nevada projects include Espirit, Veterans Parkway, and Curtis Ranch, all located in Southwest Reno, and Kiley Ranch, which is just north of Sparks.

Espirit will offer 126 units and will be a customized variation of the RowTown product, another ultra-efficient design from IDBS.

Veteran’s Parkway will offer 260 units. Permits are expected to be secured by December. Construction should be begin next spring, with an expected completion date of summer 2021.

The Kiley Ranch project will offer 306 units. It will be the first Lewis community to feature customized versions of both the FlexBuilding and RowTown products. Permits are expected to be secured by December. Construction should begin next spring with an expected completion date of summer 2021.

Pacific West and Lewis are finalizing the design of the Curti Ranch project, which will again feature a customized mix of the FlexBuilding and RowTown products.
