RENO, NEVADA — Pacific West Companies is now handling self-perform trade services in carpentry, manufacturing, stucco, paint, concrete, site grading, and finish carpentry.

“This will reduce square-foot costs by approximately $15 a livable square foot, which will directly benefit clients and end users,” explains Bill Pennington, CEO of Pacific West Companies. “It’s a crucial step in helping to control rising material and labor costs.”

Pennington says the expanded services will expedite and strengthen a developer’s return on investment by lowering overall costs and enabling rents to be set at prices consistent with real-world wages.

“We, along with our clients, feel an obligation to provide renters with affordable quality and features. The west needs an answer to the skyrocketing living costs facing the average working man and woman. Our goal is to be part of that solution.”

Pennington adds that the newly-added trade services will allow Pacific West to increase the wages paid to labor, “helping achieve even higher efficiency and quality while providing the greatest flexibility in scheduling.”

Founded in 1991, Pacific West Companies, which is based in Reno, designs, engineers, and builds multi-family communities throughout California and Nevada.
