Phil Howard
Writer/Designer/Creative Director

Phillip Howard has been a professional freelance writer for more than 20 years. He has also served as a website designer and creative director for more than 15 years. He has worked in every major medium, including the web, print, television, and radio.

Phillip, along with designer Linda Anderson, created the first ads for Pacific West the year the company was founded, and has since worked steadily with the company for 25 years. He worked exclusively for Pacific West during their most successful years, when they became the sixth highest-grossing multi-family builder in the country, and has continued to work for them during and after the economic collapse.

Prior to that, he served briefly as the head of online marketing for Vittoria S.p.A., the world’s largest manufacturer of bicycle tires. With a plant in Europe and two in Thailand, Vittoria supplies tires for everything from kids bikes and commuters in countries all over the world, including China, to more pro cycling teams than any other brand. Due to a serious health condition his wife was battling, Phillip resigned his position and returned to freelancing.

He has worked with more than a hundred local, national and international clients such as Fox Racing, Ibis Cycles/Santa Cruz, Oracle, Nvidia, AT&T, Ripcurl, IGT, Continental Tires, Vredestein Tires, Sierra Pacific Power/NV Energy, Look, Moots Cycles, Voodoo Cycles, GU, Geax Mountain Bike Tires, Ketel One Vodka, Porsche, Caughlin Ranch, Montreaux, Renown Hospital, Miller Heiman, Bohlender-Graebener, and the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Phillip has a degree in English Literature and a minor in Journalism.
